Thai Pot, London

Away from the hustle and bustle of Covent Garden lies the buzzy family run Thai Pot restaurant. Being a Saturday night I headed straight to the cocktail menu for champagne peach bellini – deelish!

I’m a sucker for Kanom Jeeb (Thai Dimsum), these little parcels of loveiness were stuffed full of minced chicken, pork, fresh herbs and water chestnut.  Couldnt of eaten 10 more!

Satay chicken was moist and chargrilled w/ a thick and creamy peanut dipping sauce

I’m so predictable and went for the Red  Chicken Chicken, cooked with traditional bamboo shoots, chillis, coconut milk, lime & basil leaves with good chucks of chicken. Not too firey more like a hug in a bowl.

The Phad Thai is what it says on the tin… Thai noodles, peanuts, soya, bean curd, chicken and egg. Simple but delicious

Of course made room for dessert! Green Tea icecream, creamy and really did taste like green tea

Throughly enjoyed my trip to Thai Pot, I always prefer family run businesses to a chain. Definitely check them out if you are in the area.
