Review of Outsider Tart, Chiswick, London

Ever since my first bite of their fudgey mint chocolate brownie Outsider Tart has been on my radar to blog about. Set up by two Davids from New York,  their small but always bustling bakery/cafe is a buffet of cakes, brownies, cookies and whoopie pies.

Trays filled full of rich, moist and overindulgent sweet treats for any occasion, it’s literally like stepping into Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory.. you want to buy EVERYTHING!.

XXX rated chocolate brownies – so sinful you don’t want to share it!

Wanna bake like the pro’s? now you can….

Good ol’ USA chocolates

Delectable crumble cakes

I think this was a pumkin and cranberry sponge cake

A three layer vanilla/ yellow cake with milk chocolate chunks and chocolate frosting.

White blondies – coconut, macadamia and white and milk chocolate chips.

Cookies made for giants – they were as big as my face

Pumpkin, chocolate and orange zest brownies

  Triple chocolate brownies with walnuts

Vanilla sponge cake made with sour cream and a sugar cinnamon topping. Dence yet fluffy soft sponge kept moist with the sour cream which adds a slight sharpness to the cake.

Hands down one of the best bakeries in London, Outsider Tart have created a haven of Americana treats. Their indulgent recipes and luxurious cakes are a sweet tooth’s paradise.

  1. I’m really impressed with your writing skills and also with the layout on your weblog. Is this a paid theme or did you customize it yourself? Either way keep up the excellent quality writing, it’s rare to
see a great blog like this one nowadays.
