Prosecco and cupcakes tea party

I was lucky enough to attend a cupcakes and prosecco bloggers  party at the ultra glamourous Taylor Taylor hair salon in Notting Hill.  Organised by lifestyle blogger Sarah from Prosecco Diaries this very girly event  was a tea-party with a difference. Green tea cocktails served in vintage china cups, stacks of cupcakes on dainty cake stands with a few glasses of delicious prosecco to wash it all down with.

Taylor Taylor very kindly gave each blogger offered everyone a free blow dry and a goodie bag few of swag. Their luxurious and stylish salon blew me away, from the golden leather chairs dotted with gems, granduer chandeliers and antique wall mirrors its a heaven for anyone looking for a hair cut with a personal touch. What other salon has its own private cocktail bar?

Cupcakes on offer were by House of Cuckoo a brand new company set up by two yummy mummies Carolyn & Chieko. They wanted to encourage their little ones to eat healthy and created cupcakes which combine sweet with savoury using nutritious ingredients. A sneaky and clever way of hiding vegetables in meals with unique flavour combos such as beetroot & chocolate, butternut squash & almond, cauliflower & lemon, and minted pea & vanilla.

Using their 90 year old family recipe their vintage, hand crafted cuckoo cupcakes are not only visually gorgeous, but exceptionally tasty.  The chocolate and beetroot cupcakes are my favourite you wouldn’t even know you were eating veggies! the cupcakes are just as sweet, decadent and light. Now available in selected Waitrose stores or online at House of Cuckoo website.

Massive thank you to Sarah, House of Cuckoo and Taylor Taylor for hosting the ultimate girls night out.
