Review of Sushi Bar, Spice Market London

Asian fusion restaurant Spice Market London have debuted their new Sushi Bar welcoming acclaimed sushi master Chef Didi from Doha. 

Guests huddled around the bar in awe of the chefs at work admiring the abundance of hypnotizing foodie delights on offer.


The menu includes usual classics of sushi rolls and sashimi with some new dishes from Doha of thinly sliced spicy tuna, crispy shredded crab and shrimp tempura.

The spiced crumble sprinkled over the tuna was exceptional as were the beautifully fresh and vibrant salmon nigiri.



Special signature cocktails of the night included a sake infused with cucumber and ginger, a tantalizing aperitif and a sweeter and summary lychee sake drink.

Spice Market London is a unique mix between the ethnic authentic old world feel of Spice Market NY and the contemporary architecture of the new building on Leicester Square in London. 

Executive Chef  at Spice Market Peter Lloyd has combined his passion for spice with signature dishes from the East creating an authentic Asian fusion menu.  With each new dish, patrons are transported to the idealization of a Vietnamese street market or a Thai food stall. Regional curries, fish sauces and spices are tweaked to tantalizing effect in dishes like Spiced Chicken Samosas with Coriander Yogurt and Cod with Malaysian Chili Sauce
