Gu Puds at Winter Taste of London

Last weekend Gu Puds showcased their first ever Gü Garden of Temptation at Taste of London winter food festival.

The garden is decorated as  a fantasy mythical woodland with a Gü oak tree being the centre piece of the room.  You are transported into a wondrous journey to world of Gü  from the velvety smooth Chocolate & Vanilla Cheesecakes to the exotic Key Lime Pies all on offer to purchase and of course sample!

Gü Pud’s Head Chef, Fred Ponnavoy gave a 10 mins patisserie masterclass  to an intimate crowd of dessert lovers.  Creating a mini exotic fruit dessert topped with buttery golden rice krispies.

Fred gave the crowd  top tips on how to melt butter without burning it, how to create a coconut chantilly cream and how to pipe it without it going everywhere.   By adding a humble breakfast cereal can transform a nice dessert to an exceptional dessert.  Rich, indulgent and sinfully delicious, the smooth creamy texture of the coconut cream against the slightly tart fruit and crunch from the caramel krispies is simply divine.

A short but sweet (excuse the pun) masterclass which ended the best way possible with free freshly made original Gu Pud!
