Tom Kerridge and Greene King IPA popup

The Hoppodrome,  an end of summer party hosted by Michelin star chef Tom Kerridge and  Greene King IPA one of the leading pub and brewing companies in the UK.

At his first London Popup,  Tom dished up some BBQ favourites with a pub grub twist at this one off event.

Held at The Crabtree W6,  this very intimate and exclusive party launched Greene King IPA’s ‘To The Pub’ campaign, which champions the Great British Greene King pub and all of the moments, big and small, that occur in them every day.

Tom acted as the party host as he cooked each dish as guests gathered around the food and sound station,

On the menu were;

Mackerel burger – a chargrilled smoky fish patty seasoned with a green mayo, melted cheese and a slither of salty crisp bacon in a sesame bun.

A mushroom sisotto minus the rice! A  gooey stringy cheesy risotto made only with earthy diced mushrooms for a creamy rich hearty risotto.

My fave of the night was the pulled pork served in a milk bun. Sweet, smoky and spicy tender slow cooked pork melted in your mouth – should of grabbed another one!
